Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service govern the use of the IP Geolocation API service ("Service") provided by IPFind ("Company"), including the conditions, procedures, rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both the Company and users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" refers to the IP address-based geolocation lookup API service provided by the Company.
  2. "User" refers to members who use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
  3. "API Key" refers to the unique authentication key issued for using the Service.
  4. "Request" refers to each API call made to look up IP information through the API.

Article 3 (Service Description)

  1. Geographic location lookup for IP addresses (country, region, city)
  2. ISP and network information provision
  3. ASN (Autonomous System Number) information provision
  4. The Service is available 24/7 as a general principle.

Article 4 (Pricing)

  1. Free Plan: 100 requests per day without API key
  2. Starter Plan: 10,000 requests per day with API key after registration (free)
  3. Premium Plan: Unlimited requests with prepaid subscription

Article 5 (Payment and Billing)

  1. Premium service is provided as a recurring subscription (auto-renewal), and is automatically charged in the selected period (3/6/12 months).
  2. Domestic users: Payments are processed via recurring card billing (KRW).
  3. International users: Payments are processed as one-time payments via PayPal (USD). Manual re-payment is required after the usage period expires.
  4. For recurring subscriptions, the same amount will be automatically charged to the registered payment method when the selected period ends.
  5. Actual charges for international payments may vary due to exchange rate fluctuations.

Article 6 (Subscription Cancellation and Refund)

6-1. Subscription Cancellation

  1. Users may cancel the auto-renewal of their subscription at any time.
  2. Canceling auto-renewal does not result in an immediate refund. Premium service continues until the end of the current paid period.
  3. After the paid period expires, no automatic charge will be made and the account will revert to the free plan.

6-2. Refund

  1. Users may request a full refund within 7 days of payment only if the service has not been used at all.
  2. If there is a service usage history (API calls, etc.), refunds may be restricted.
  3. Refund requests can be submitted through customer service or email, and processing may take 3-7 business days.
  4. Upon refund, the subscription will be immediately canceled and premium service access will be terminated.
  5. Payment fees and foreign exchange fees may be excluded from the refund.
  6. Refunds may be restricted in case of service suspension due to violation of terms of service.

Article 7 (Usage Restrictions)

  1. Service usage will be restricted when daily request limits are exceeded.
  2. Unauthorized sharing or redistribution of API keys is prohibited.
  3. Abusing the Service or causing system overload is prohibited.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

  1. IP location accuracy is not 100% guaranteed and should be used for reference only.
  2. The Company is not responsible for direct or indirect damages resulting from Service usage.
  3. The Company is not responsible for service interruptions due to force majeure such as natural disasters or war.

These Terms of Service are effective from January 1, 2026.
